January 2017	–	SEW-EURODRIVE signed a contract with BNP Associates, Inc. (US) to use SEW-EURODRIVE’S MOVIGEAR mechatronic gear drive system and DRC electronic motor for their project regarding the synchronous permanent-magnet motor, helical gearing, and VFD in an ergonomically designed unit. This has helped the company increase its market share in the global market.
October 2016	–	SEW-EURODRIVE has designed new K-series compact helical-hypoid gearmotors, which includes the K19, K29, K39, and K49, to be used for conveyors in the food, beverage, airport, logistics, and material-handling industries. These new gearmotors combines one stage of helical gearing with one stage of hypoid gearing. This has helped the company provide low maintenance services for gear-related products.
November 2018	Product Development	Sew-Eurodrive improved its gearmotors by maximizing their speed range to accommodate VFDs above 60Hz. This enhances system stability and reduces cost
