The group at present offers the broadest range of sustainable drive systems available, with zero-emission electric trolley, battery, and fuel cell, natural gas, electric hybrid, and clean diesel. NFI operates its business in two main reportable segments which are the manufacturing operations and aftermarket operations. The manufacturing operations segment originates its revenue from the manufacture, service & support of new transit buses, coaches, medium-duty, and cutaway buses. The aftermarket operations segment is involved in sales of aftermarket parts for transit buses, coaches, and medium duty/cutaway buses.
Strategy
NFI Group will work towards offering next-generation products & services to the customers with the aim of accelerating the transition to electricity, whereas reducing the risk and complication of electrification for its customers. It will continue to make new agreements to expand its business and enhance its capabilities. NFI is persistently entering into partnerships with smaller specialist firms and start-up companies that will advance the business and technology more swiftly, as well as help in expanding the company’s own additional areas of expertise.
