The Government of India holds 51.28% of the paid-up equity capital of the company. NALCO is one of the largest integrated primary manufacturers of aluminum in Asia and deals with the entire value chain from bauxite mining, alumina refining, aluminum smelting, and power generation to downstream products. The business segment includes alumina, power, metal, and others. The zeolite product comes under the alumina & hydrate product segment. NALCO also creates, produces, and markets useful products for various end-use industry include power, consumer durables, transportation, construction, packaging, etc. It has three manufacturing sites present, and seven offices across India. It has a strong export market across Asia-Pacific, America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
