Strategy
The company entered into a strategic agreement to enhance its business operations. In March 2022, the company and Digital Diagnostics entered a partnership to advance diabetic retinopathy detection. In December 2021, the company entered into an agreement and acquired Hillrom, an American medical technology provider; aimed at increasing the product portfolio of the company. In August, the company and Amazon Web Services signed a collaboration agreement to enable cloud technology solutions to drive its digital transformation forward. During the same month, the company's philanthropic arm, Baxter International Foundation signed a partnership with UNICEF USA to improve access to safe water in La Guajira, Colombia.
