Sumitomo Precision Products Co., Ltd (SPP) is a business conglomerate and manufactures a range of products for application in industries, including oil & gas, electronics, power generation, railway, and industrial machinery. Sumitomo Corporation (Japan) is the major stake holder in SPP and holds 27.75% of its share. It operates through three business segments of aerospace and related products, heat energy and environmental related products, and ICT related products. SPP offers MCHE through its heat control products division, which is a sub-segment of the heat energy and environmental related products segment. Some of the other major products sold under the division include plate-fin heat exchanger, cold box, power device cooler, heat sink, and LNG vaporizer.
The company has four plants based in Japan, and has clients spread across the globe in the countries of South Korea, China, India, Canada, Brazil, Germany, poland, France, Spain, Russia, and the US. It primarily competes with Motor Sich JSC ( Ukraine), Docummun Incorporated (US), and Hydromash (Russia) .
