Strategy

JXTG Nippon, in April 2016, concluded a strategic cooperation agreement with the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), which has the largest share of sales in the petroleum products market of Vietnam, wherein JXTG Nippon is leveraging its expertise to increase the competitiveness of Petrolimex. It is also considering a joint operational structure for its Marifu Renery involving Petrolimex. Additionally, it is considering adopting a range of potential initiatives to expand the business of petroleum products and increase the distribution in Australia to meet the growing demand in South-East Asia.
