January 2020	Investment	ECA Group planned to invest in the development of its new plant in Ostend, Belgium. The plant will enable the company to provide unmanned systems to the Belgian and Dutch navies.
March 2019	Contract	ECA Group signed a 10-year contract worth USD 508.8 million (450 million Euros) with the Belgian navy. As per the terms of the contract, it will provide AUVs, towed sonars, and mine identification & destruction systems (MIDS) composed of ROV for the identification and destruction of mines, and the unmanned surface vehicles. It helped improve the company’s financial position in the global AUV market.
September 2018	Contract	ECA Group signed a contract with an undisclosed customer to provide its autonomous underwater vehicle AUV A18.
February 2018	Product Launch	ECA Group unveiled its medium-sized AUV, A18-M, dedicated to fighting submarine mines. It is compact and equipped with a high-quality imagery system explicitly designed for mine hunting. Due to the increasing demand for AUVs for mine detection, the launch of A18-M helped increasing its customer base globally.
February 2018	Agreement	ECA Group signed an agreement with Petrus, a global oil & gas services group. Under the agreement, the ECA Group provided its AUVs to the latter on lease for oil & gas for inspection and survey services.
June 2017	Contract	ECA Group signed a contract with a NATO Navy to provide its AUVs for mine warfare.
January 2017	Contract	ECA Group signed a contract with the French Navy and Royal UK Navy to provide six AUVs for the Navy’s MMCM program.
