October 2016	Expansion	Air Products and Chemicals Inc, a leading industrial gases company announced to build a new large air separation unit (LASU) in Ulsan, South Korea. This development is in line with the company’s strategy to meet the increasing demand for industrial gases in the region. This expansion is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2018 with a production capacity of 1,750 tons per day of gaseous and liquefied oxygen, nitrogen, and argon.
October 2016	Expansion	Air Products announced the signing of an agreement with Chemours Company FC, LLC for the supply of multiple industrial gases. In line with this agreement, the company will build, own, and operate an air separation unit in New Johnsonville, US to produce oxygen, nitrogen, and argon.
September 2015	Joint venture	Air Products formed a new joint venture with Linde North America, named East Coast Nitrogen (ECN). The company announced to build a new 1,100 ton per day air separation unit (ASU) and industrial gas liquefier at this plant. This new facility will be completed by December 2018 and will produce liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, and liquid argon using Air Products’ latest technology.
